As I get closer and closer to thirty I realize certain strange things people probably wouldn't believe about me when I sit down and they dawn on me.
For example in my whole life I have never gone to a concert and more oddly I have never been drunk before nor even drank a full glass of alcohol...
...I have to wonder am I the only one out there =<

I have been to a concert, but I've never had a full glass of alcohol (usually a half-glass at the most, and that's rare). I've never been drunk either; I just don't see the point. Plus, I'm naturally clumsy and awkward, why do I need alcohol to act like me?

I mean, I do go out quite often with friends, but I wish I would have valued my older friendships just as much.  As for concerts, I occasionally catch the Arctic Monkeys and Stromae concerts when they're in town.

My trouble with hanging out with old friends unfortunately comes from conflicting schedules, but a few times a year we still get to meet up for new years , birthdays, Christmas.

It's something I face as well. 30 is that age where we all thought we'd meet our "happily ever after" ending, and  my regrets include; Not reconnecting with old secondary school friends for a long enough time where it's now awkward to call them, and other family matters. However, drinking and going to concerts is something you can always do, even if you're 60 years old :P

i've never been to a concert either, however last time i went out to get drunk was my early 20's, now days 2 glasses of spirits is all i will ever drink.

hmmm i've noticed i don't go out anymore to pubs or social outings, i've basically become a Hermit. so you're not alone

I can go to a quiet country or restaurant style pub , though perhaps due to my autism the loud noise in some pubs and in concerts aggravates my condition a little...
I'm not an overly social creature but will do so if it comes down to it.
I never really got a taste for alcohol and I've unfortunately had people put me off it when I was teenager.

im not a fan of beer. its like drinking a pint of chemicals, nor am i a fan of club drinks....i mean wtf would you wanna drink something that could make your insides glow in the dark.

I prefer Biker's pup, because your with people who are chilled to the bone, have good music, good atmosphere
Or quiet Pub not far from where I live called The Three Horseshoes Inn - however the only issue i have is the very low ceiling but they have a garden out back where i spend my time. their website here threehorseshoesinn.org/

what i would probably drink;
Southern Comfort, straight on the rocks or mixed with sprite
A White Russian
Ale
Newcastle Brown Ale
Guinness
Red Wine (Merlot)
I've recently become a fan of Mead.

Though i wouldn't drink to get drunk, only merry, I'm more talkative then

I can get behind the get merry thing. What I tend to dislike is when people in their 30s and 20s...people my own age act like children when they drink.  Admittedly I would be likely to smoke to loosen at gatherings at a friends  house party but its not something I depend on/nor am I addicted to.... it lightens me up.

You know I also don't drink much,  but  Disarrono was the first thing that came to mind for a juice-like alcohol beverage! I used to have it mixed with coke..or even better, cherry coke! Its really sweet and I dont think it tastes too 'alcoholy'

Oh, so you're a person who likes sweet alcohol? I prefer the sharp taste, so I'd mix a few grams of whiskey with carbonated water, and top it off with a martini.
